I am a social science researcher and freelance science communicator/writer.

Work
My research interests include diversity, tolerance, social mobility, and urban inequality. These interests reflect my commitment to issues of poverty alleviation, climate justice, and policy reform. I regularly contribute research and blogs to the Bipartisan Policy Center's housing vertical.My writing interests range from creative non-fiction to science communication.Check out my portfolio below.
About
I am Master's Candidate at SJSU and a graduate student intern on the housing policy team at the Bipartisan Policy Center. I conduct research in social psychology at San Jose State University (and previously at UC Irvine and New York University). As a science communicator for The Power of Us, I create multimedia content highlighting key concepts in the book and edit our weekly newsletter.I also volunteer as a Court-Appointed Special Advocate in the dependency court system. I work with foster youth and act as their voice in the court room.
